Press Release 10/15/24: Article Series Explores Election Integrity Successes, Features EIN

EIN Executive Director Kerri Toloczko: The reason our movement is called election integrity, is not just based on policy and procedures, but also on the character of the individuals who comprise it.

Election Integrity Successes: Now Everybody Knows

The election integrity movement is racking up wins for all voters

Washington, DC.  In a series of articles for the nonprofit investigative think tank, Capital Research Center, journalist Fred Lucas lays out the case for “election integrity wins” as the nation approaches November’s federal election.

His articles encompass the federal SAVE Act, the impact of the election integrity movement over the past four years, ever-increasing concerns about the unlawful registration of noncitizens, election based court cases, and taking on the overt election interference perpetrated by big tech.

EIN Executive Director Kerri Toloczko, who was featured in the first article, notes, “the reason our movement is called election integrity, is not just based on policy and procedures, but also on the character of the individuals who comprise it.

“Although many election integrity organizations have stepped into this space to spearhead efforts, none of the pro-voter wins Mr. Lucas identifies would have happened without the relentless volunteer efforts that citizen activists around the country applied to protecting all ballots of all voters.”

Lucas writes in depth about the wins and losses in the election integrity movement from legislative to judicial, and identifies the lack of trust expressed by a majority of voters. He also describes some of the victories the movement has achieved in blocking private donor funding of public election offices.

“In his reporting, Lucas identifies the web of key players and organizations funded by leftwing, power-hungry, elite megadonors with deep pockets who block policies that protect individual voters. They embrace legislative, judicial and procedural changes that obstruct accurate reporting of election integrity issues, make it more difficult to validate voter identity, frighten poll watchers from doing their civic duty, diminish accurate counting, and resort to just calling us names when all else fails,” Toloczko notes.

“The key takeaway? Thanks to Capital Research Center and Mr. Lucas, the cat’s out of the bag – folks in the election integrity movement wear the white hats, care for all voters, are carrying metaphorical flashlights – and are not sitting this one out. We applaud Capital Research’s work to accurately share this story with the American public.”
