Maureen Riordan, now a litigation attorney with the Public Interest Legal Foundation served 18 years in the Voting Rights Section of the DOJ. In her House testimony on June 29, 2021, she reveals first hand the myriad abuses and partisan control of the Voting Section of the US DOJ.  She urged members of Congress to read the 2013 Report of the Inspector General confirming partisan abuse by DOJ attorneys and to oppose the enactment of a new pre-clearance scheme.
